Galloper Gold Commences Diamond Drilling at Glover Island
Galloper Gold Corp. (CSE:BOOM)(OTC PINK:GGDCF)(Frankfurt:W9F) has announced the start of Phase 1 diamond drilling at its Glover Island Project in Western Newfoundland. The claims cover most of the 40-km long under-explored Island, known for its major gold, copper, and salt deposits.
The drilling aims to expand the known orogenic gold system and explore a new copper anomaly on the island's western side. Initial drilling occurs 6 km north of a historic gold deposit at "Lucky Smoke." This area shows promising signs for gold deposits along a 12-km trend.
The copper anomaly represents a new exploration front, untouched due to limited outcrop. Results from recent soil samples and a 2008 VTEM Survey will guide further investigations.
CEO Hratch Jabrayan highlighted Glover Island's potential due to major fault convergence and favorable rock formations, offering opportunities for large-scale discoveries.
