Stephen Shea Joins Galloper Gold Board of Directors
Galloper Gold Corp., a company focused on mineral exploration in Newfoundland, has announced that Stephen Shea, a former partner at Ernst & Young, joins its Board of Directors. Shea brings substantial experience from his previous role as Managing Partner, Talent at EY, where he was a key figure at the Canadian Firm's Executive Committee.
Shea's extensive resume includes years of service in the gold mining sector with the Dome Mines Group, which evolved into Barrick Gold Corporation. His appointment comes as Galloper aims to expand its exploration activities, specifically at its flagship Glover Island Property.
CEO Hratch Jabrayan expressed confidence in Shea's ability to contribute to Galloper's strategic plans. Meanwhile, Mark Scott has resigned from the board, with the company thanking him for his service. As Galloper prepares for an extensive drill program in 2025, Shea’s leadership is anticipated to be instrumental.
