Galloper Gold Expands Glover Island Exploration
Galloper Gold Corp. has commenced its inaugural drilling program at Glover Island, aiming to extend known gold mineralization at the Lucky Smoke site in Western Newfoundland. Situated 6 km north of the historic Lunch Pond deposit, this effort marks the first diamond drilling on the island since 2012.
The company's CEO, Hratch Jabrayan, highlighted the potential for orogenic-style gold deposits, noting the favorable visual analysis of the drill core. Although Galloper holds most claims on the island, they do not own the historic Lunch Pond deposit or adjacent claims.
Galloper eagerly awaits assay results to inform a significant exploration campaign planned for 2025. The company's current understanding is based on limited historical drilling, and they aim to further explore the gold and copper potential of the region.
