Galway Metals Launches Further Studies at Clarence Stream Gold Project
Galway Metals Inc. announces the start of additional metallurgical and process definition studies at its Clarence Stream high-grade gold project in New Brunswick, Canada. The company aims to advance process flowsheet definition focusing on gold recovery. Directed by Steve Haggarty of Haggarty Technical Services Corp, the test program is an extension of previous works to further derisk the project.
McClelland Labs in Nevada has been chosen to examine metallurgical characteristics across Clarence Stream's North, South, and Southwest zones. This continued effort throughout 2024 follows earlier studies conducted for the North and South zones, anchoring a comprehensive approach to testing and process optimization.
Steve Haggarty, with a distinguished 43-year career including major roles at global mining firms and a metallurgical engineering background from McGill University, leads the test program. His experience encompasses numerous EPCM projects, supporting project definition, feasibility studies, and more in the mining sector. Haggarty's expertise is expected to play a crucial role in advancing Clarence Stream's potential.
The Clarence Stream project is identified by its quartz-vein hosted gold deposits, situated within geologically favorable conditions. Detailed insights into its geology and mineralization reinforce Galway Metals' commitment to exploring its high-grade gold potential efficiently and responsibly.
