Galway Metals Provides Corporate Update for 2024
Galway Metals Inc. has issued a corporate update for 2024. With gold prices over US$2,500 per ounce, the company remains focused on advancing its Canadian gold assets, including the Clarence Stream gold project in New Brunswick and the Estrades mine in Quebec.
President and CEO Robert Hinchcliffe stated their priority is to improve the economics of key projects through resource expansion, exploration drilling, and metallurgy programs. Personnel changes are being made to align with these goals.
At Clarence Stream, Galway Metals has drilled 29 holes aimed at enhancing its NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate. Additional drilling is underway, with results pending from 44 drillholes.
An updated NI 43-101 resource estimate for Estrades is expected in early Q4 2024, reflecting higher gold and zinc prices.
The company's CEO continues to show confidence, purchasing over 700,000 shares in the open market this year.
