GEA Group Sees Profitability Boost in Third Quarter
GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft reported a significant improvement in profitability during the third quarter of 2024. The order intake increased by 6.6% organically compared to the previous year, resulting in EUR 1,301 million. Revenue slightly rose to EUR 1,350 million, while the EBITDA before restructuring expenses expanded by 4.9% to EUR 217.1 million, achieving a margin increase to 16.1%.
The company experienced a notable increase in profitability across all divisions, with a strong performance in the service business, now accounting for 39.2% of revenue. Despite the profit drop to EUR 112 million due to discontinued operations, earnings per share remained stable at EUR 0.72.
GEA continues to align with its Mission 26 and established new ambitious goals for 2030. Emphasis is placed on sustainable solutions while achieving a projected annual organic revenue growth of over 5% by 2030.
