Saudi Arabia's 2026 Future Aviation Forum and Continued Aviation Growth
Saudi Arabia is set to host the 2026 Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh from April 20-22, gathering over 11,000 aviation leaders, including regulators, manufacturers, and airlines. The event aims to tackle significant challenges in the aviation sector while highlighting new growth opportunities. The forum, hosted under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's patronage, comes as Saudi Arabia records its third consecutive year of aviation growth—with a 9.6% rise in passenger numbers in 2025.
The 2026 forum, marking an 8.3% increase in flight operations, is expected to foster global collaboration on issues like capacity constraints and geopolitical disruptions. It continues the success of previous editions, which have secured over $20 billion in deals. Saudi Arabia is poised for further aviation expansion, backed by Vision 2030 objectives, with ongoing airport capacity enhancements.
