Generali Investments and Partners Group Launch Private Credit Secondaries Fund

Generali Investments has launched its Private Credit Secondaries Fund in partnership with Partners Group. This fund will invest globally in private credit secondary transactions offering risk-adjusted returns. Aimed at professional investors, it will be accessible in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Structured as a Luxembourg Reserved Alternative Investment Fund, Generali Asset Management will manage the portfolio, with Partners Group as the investment advisor. The collaboration aims to capture a significant market share in the growing private credit secondaries sector, driven by total private credit assets under management estimated at $1.6 trillion.

The fund seeks to leverage Generali's origination and underwriting capabilities alongside Partners Group's investment expertise. The focus is on providing immediate exposure and superior returns using efficient strategies like J-curve mitigation. This announcement marks an extension of the longstanding strategic relationship between the two firms.
