Germany Ranks as Top Non-English Speaking Country for Global Work Locations

Germany has emerged as the favorite non-English-speaking destination in the global job market, according to the "Decoding Global Talent" report by The Stepstone Group in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group and The Network. The study highlights Germany's position at fifth place overall, with Australia taking the lead followed by the USA and Canada.

Berlin, known for attracting international talent, ranks 6th among global cities for work, following cities like London, Amsterdam, and Dubai. Despite this, fewer Germans are willing to work abroad, with only 7% actively job-hunting internationally, preferring nearby Switzerland and Austria or the USA and Spain.

The report also underscores the importance of job quality as the primary reason for choosing Germany, noted by 74% of respondents, while a significant majority also expect comprehensive visa process support from potential employers.
