Getlink: Revenue down 17% in the first quarter of 2025

Getlink announced revenue of €328 million for the first quarter of 2025, a 17% year-on-year decline. This decline is mainly attributed to the normalization of electricity markets and the temporary suspension of the ElecLink interconnector, which saw revenue fall by 69%.
Conversely, the group's traditional businesses, Eurotunnel and Europorte, recorded modest growth of 2%. Eurotunnel's revenue amounted to €254 million, despite the decline in passenger vehicle traffic, impacted by the postponement of the Easter holidays.
Getlink also received an upgrade to its credit rating from BB+ and issued €600 million in green bonds. These funds were partially used to repay an existing bond.
