Getlink Shuttle Traffic Decreases Slightly in May 2025

In May 2025, Getlink's LeShuttle Freight carried 97,125 trucks, reflecting a 4% decrease compared to May 2024. Since the start of 2025, nearly 500,000 trucks have utilized the Shuttle services to cross the Channel. This slightly reduced figure indicates a minor decline in freight activity year-on-year.
For passenger vehicles, LeShuttle transported 195,294 units in May, marking a 1% drop from the previous year. Despite this, over 770,000 passenger vehicles have been transported since January, showing a 3% increase over the same period in 2024. These figures suggest a stable passenger vehicle demand with a slight year-to-date growth.
The traffic data for June 2025 will be released on 7 July 2025 before the markets open, offering further insights into transportation trends.
