Gigaset AG's Insolvency Plan Faces Setback

On March 11, 2025, Gigaset AG announced that the conditions outlined in its insolvency plan have not been fully met. The plan, which was unanimously adopted by the creditors' assembly on November 5, 2024, is now under scrutiny by the Münster Insolvency Court. The court has yet to make a formal decision, but it is believed that approval of the plan has not been granted.
This development follows the earlier restructuring of Gigaset Communications GmbH, a subsidiary of Gigaset AG i.L., which in April 2024 transferred its operations to Gigaset Technologies GmbH. This entity, now part of the VTech Group, is no longer associated with Gigaset AG i.L.
The Management Board of Gigaset AG is awaiting further information regarding the court's decision.
