GivingData Unveils Gmail Integration for Grantee Relationship Management

GivingData, a key provider of grants management software for family and private foundations, has announced the launch of a Google Gmail™ add-on. This new feature, available in the Google Workspace Marketplace, allows for seamless email integration with GivingData's SaaS grants management platform. It marks the first native Gmail integration with a grantee relationship management system within a grants management software (GMS).

Eric Jones, Senior Director of Product Management at GivingData, highlighted the significance of this integration for the philanthropic sector. It offers grantmakers a comprehensive view of their communications with grantees throughout the grant lifecycle. This Gmail add-on facilitates easy transfer of crucial emails to GivingData and the association of emails with specific contacts, funding requests, and records. Moreover, it allows for the continuation of email conversations within GivingData or Gmail, including the automatic download and linkage of any document attachments to the corresponding interaction record.
