GivingData Unveils Open API and Integrated Payment Processing at PEAK2024

GivingData, a major supplier of grants management software catered for family and private foundations, announced the introduction of an open API for enhanced data sharing across foundation websites and CRM systems. The announcement, which also included the launch of a new payment processing function and updates to the GD Cloud document management system, occurred during PEAK Grantmaking's annual conference in Seattle, Washington.

Eric Jones, the Senior Director of Product Management at GivingData, highlighted that these advancements simplify the synchronization of grant-related data and contact information with external CRM systems for their foundation partners. The updates mark a significant development in the company's product range, aiming to facilitate easier data integration for grantmakers.

The newly introduced finance feature integrates with Bill.com, offering solutions for seamless payment processing and synchronization with popular accounting software like Intuit's Quickbooks and Sage Intacct. This feature is designed to give finance teams at foundations clear insight into payment statuses and grantees' charitable statuses, alongside enhancing efficiency in batch processing tasks.

Further improvements to GivingData's offerings include upgrades to its cloud document management system, allowing users to directly manipulate Microsoft Word document templates within the GivingData platform. This enhancement is intended to streamline document management tasks for users.
