Global Petroleum Expands Juno Project with New Exploration Licence
Global Petroleum Limited has applied for a new Exploration Licence 08/3792, expanding its Juno Project in Western Australia. This addition increases the total project area from 450 to 644 square kilometres. The move aligns with the company's strategy to uncover significant mineral deposits in the region.
Callum Baxter, the consulting exploration geologist, has identified exploration targets with geophysical similarities to existing ones. The company aims to explore precious and base metal mineralisation using an Intrusion Related exploration model. This approach is inspired by deposits similar to Havieron and Telfer in northern Western Australia.
Omar Ahmad, CEO, expressed optimism about the project's potential, citing the rapid progress of geophysical programmes. Enhanced by the new licence application, Global Petroleum is poised to strengthen its exploration prospects and possibly achieve a noteworthy discovery.
