Global Uranium and Forum Energy Metals Begin Exploration in Saskatchewan

Global Uranium Corp. and Forum Energy Metals Corp. have commenced exploration at the Northwest Athabasca Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. The companies have received the exploration permit and are initiating a drill program focused on uranium prospects along the northwest shore of Lake Athabasca. Global Uranium has an option to acquire up to 75% of Forum’s interest in the joint venture by investing $20 million in exploration efforts.

Camp construction, supported by an ice road from Uranium City, is set to begin soon, with drilling planned to start by March. The initial targets include areas labeled Andy, Zone 2A, and Opie, with a goal of drilling 2,000 to 3,000 meters. The exploration aims to enhance the long-term growth of Global Uranium. Additionally, Forum Energy Metals is engaging with local communities to foster collaboration during the project's progression. The exploration will potentially include geophysical surveys.
