Golden Minerals Initiates Drilling at Desierto Property, Argentina

Golden Minerals Company has begun a 1,250-meter drill program at its Desierto property in Salta Province, Argentina. With a budget of $1.088 million, the program aims to explore the Sico, Cobre, and Iceberg targets. Completion is expected in Q4 2026, with results by Q1 2027.

Drilling at Sico involves four holes to extend exploration from nearby Sarita property. At Cobre, one hole targets a high-grade gold-bearing vein. Iceberg's drilling examines an alunite/pyrophyllite alteration zone linked to First Quantum Minerals' Taca Taca deposit.

Golden's Desierto property covers 2,505 hectares with known gold and copper targets. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to organic growth through exploration. Results from this initial phase are anticipated soon, offering insights into potential mineralization.
