GoldenPeaks Capital Launches New Solar Plant in Hungary

GoldenPeaks Capital, a major investor in solar energy across Eastern Europe, has inaugurated a new solar power plant near Bodroghalom, Hungary. This significant project, managed through its local branch Spectris, has an installed capacity of 64.56 MW and is expected to generate 94.6 GWh/year of clean energy.

The plant has the potential to provide renewable electricity to over 30,000 people each year. It is set to offset roughly 863,394 tons of CO₂ emissions over its lifespan, comparable to the carbon absorption of over one million trees. This photovoltaic facility represents the first of several forthcoming projects by GoldenPeaks Capital in Hungary, underscoring its commitment to reducing carbon emissions in the energy sector.

Completed within eight months, the project employed cutting-edge technology to minimize environmental impact and maximize efficiency. Additionally, it enhances the region’s electricity supply security and bolsters the stability of the local grid.
