Goldflare Exploration Expands Exploration Targets in the Goldfields Zone

Goldflare Exploration Inc. has successfully completed a drill program near the Fayolle open pit and defined multiple exploration targets along the Porcupine-Destor Break. Notable drill results from 2023 included 1.3 grams per tonne gold over 22.8 meters, and a high-grade interval of 113 grams per tonne gold over 1 meter.

The company plans to evaluate five new targets using historical magnetic surveys and gold biogeochemistry, due to the challenges posed by thick topsoil and scarce outcrop visibility. This strategy follows discoveries indicating a significant mineralized system extending approximately 3.5 kilometers westward along the fault line.

Goldflare intends to extend the known Goldfields Zone, with assessments of parallel structures anticipated. This includes the near Fayolle pit and several unexplored lineaments, with the Destorbelle showing highlighted as a key area for upcoming exploration.

Exploration will utilize innovative methods such as biogeochemical sampling, leveraging trees' capacity to absorb gold, which proved effective in similar terrain in northern Abitibi. This approach complements traditional magnetic surveys, aligning with the geology identified at the nearby Fayolle deposit.
