Goldman Sachs Crosses Thresholds in Veolia Environnement

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. indirectly crossed the thresholds of 5% of the capital and voting rights of Veolia Environnement on March 17, 2025. This declaration, received on March 21, 2025, indicates that the group holds, through its subsidiaries, 45,572,779 shares, or 6.15% of the capital and voting rights of Veolia.
The acquisition, made off-market, voids the previously applied trading exemption. The Goldman Sachs International subsidiary also exceeded the same thresholds.
Specifically, Goldman Sachs also holds shares through various contracts such as call options and warrants, which are exercised until 2026. In addition, the company holds positions in swaps and futures. These positions provide significant control over Veolia Environnement's shares.
