Goldman Sachs exceeds 5% of Alstom's capital
On May 24, 2024, Alstom announced that The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., based in the state of Delaware, exceeded the thresholds of 5% of the company's capital and voting rights. This crossing took place on May 20, 2024.
Goldman Sachs now holds 21,826,918 shares, representing 5.68% of Alstom's capital and voting rights. This acquisition concerns several entities of the group, including Goldman Sachs International and Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE.
This movement results from off-market purchases. The trading exemption therefore no longer applies to Goldman Sachs. In addition to these shares, Goldman Sachs holds option contracts on Alstom shares, including call options and put options.
