Goldman Sachs exceeds 5% of Veolia Environnement

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. has crossed the threshold of 5% of Veolia Environnement's share capital and voting rights. On April 11, 2025, the American group declared that it held 7.21% of Veolia's shares and voting rights. This acquisition was completed off-market, voiding Goldman Sachs' trading exemption.
The shares are primarily held by Goldman Sachs International, followed by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The group also owns options and swaps on Veolia shares, allowing for future strategic flexibility. These instruments have various strike prices and maturities, extending to 2030.
Goldman Sachs continues to strengthen its position in the French market with this major strategic acquisition.
