Graid Technology Announces Software Update, Delivers Enhanced Levels of Data Integrity and Business Continuity
SANTA CLARA, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 23, 2024 / Graid Technology, the award-winning data protection provider, has announced a new software release, SupremeRAID™ v1.6. This update addresses critical data integrity issues associated with double failures in RAID configurations.
The new double failure protection in SupremeRAID™ v1.6 offers maximum RAID stability with minimal performance impact. Traditionally, RAID systems use a single device for persistent journaling, creating a single point of failure. The new distributed journal feature eliminates this issue by distributing data and parity across all disks in a RAID group, significantly improving performance bottlenecks.
The CEO of Graid Technology, Leander Yu, states that the distributed journal feature ensures maximum data integrity while maintaining high performance levels. The beta version of SupremeRAID™ v1.6 will be available to OEM customers in early May, with a public release scheduled for late June.
Graid Technology, headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, also has an R&D center in Taipei, Taiwan. Their SupremeRAID™ card is the first NVMe and NVMeoF RAID card to unlock the full potential of SSD performance, achieving 28 million IOPS and 260GB/s throughput.
