Grand Huangshan Shines on the International Stage in Paris

From September 17 to 19, 2024, the International Tourism Industry Expo in Paris took place at the Versailles Gate Exhibition Center. Grand Huangshan, a renowned destination for leisure, vacation, and wellness tourism, made a notable debut. Various international travel merchants and visitors engaged with the Anhui booth for inquiries and discussions.

Wang Jing, Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech at the China Pavilion. Esteemed figures like Ambassador Lu Shaye and Minister Chen Li of the Chinese Embassy in France visited the Anhui booth, offering commendations.

The unique promotion of Anhui's culture and tourism drew significant attention. A promotional video titled "Encounter Grand Huangshan" highlighted the region's charms, while live performances of Huangmei Opera’s "The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl" and a tea ceremony impressed attendees.

On September 18, the 2024 Anhui Culture and Tourism (Paris) Exchange and Promotion Event took place at the Peony Pavilion, drawing cultural and tourism experts from China and France. UNWTO Special Advisor Boucher Hollier Marie-Pierre and former Secretary General of the French Tourism Development Agency Boulandraud Jean Louis praised Anhui's tourism offerings.

This promotional activity not only boosted Anhui’s international standing but also created a new platform for cultural exchanges, cementing Anhui’s role as a premier international tourist destination.
