Grand opening of GITEX AFRICA Morocco 2024
The second edition of GITEX AFRICA Morocco 2024 opened its doors in Marrakech. Bringing together technology experts, government leaders, innovators and investors, this major event takes place from May 29 to 31.
Placed under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and organized by KAOUN International, the event is a showcase of the digital future and technological opportunities in Africa.
The opening ceremony was chaired by His Excellency Aziz Akhannouch, Head of Government of the Kingdom of Morocco. More than 1,400 exhibiting companies, 350 investors, 600 speakers and 100 government entities are participating in this international event.
The discussions highlight the importance of digital transformation for sustainable development and cooperation among African countries. The show also offers more than 280 hours of immersive content and showcases the latest technological developments.
