Granite Creek Copper Announces 2024 Exploration Program at Carmacks Project in Yukon, Canada

Vancouver-based Granite Creek Copper Ltd. has announced its 2024 exploration plans for the Carmacks copper-gold project in central Yukon, Canada. This program will feature up to 1800 meters of diamond drilling to explore new targets located within a 1-kilometer radius of the proposed pits from the 2021 Preliminary Economic Assessment.

The Carmacks project spans 177 sq km and contains a high-grade resource of 36.2 million tonnes, with a copper equivalent grading of 1.07%. The exploration will focus on three primary targets: Gap, Sour Toe, and Zone 1213. These targets have been identified through IP surveys, trenching, and soil sampling.

The Gap target is situated between the 2000 and 147 zones and may represent a fault offset. The Sour Toe target, discovered 800 meters from the 147 zone, could extend over 200 meters in strike length.

Additionally, Granite Creek plans to extend the expiry date on certain warrants set to expire in June 2024, pending TSX Venture Exchange approval. The company has also granted 1,290,000 incentive stock options to its directors, officers, employees, and consultants.
