Green Energy Park and Eletrobras Forge Partnership for Renewable Hydrogen Production in Brazil

Green Energy Park (GEP) and Eletrobras have entered into a memorandum of understanding aimed at establishing leadership in the production of renewable hydrogen and its derivatives in Brazil. The collaboration unites Eletrobras's extensive hydropower resources with GEP's advanced hydrogen production technologies.

The partnership leverages Brazil's ideal conditions for renewable hydrogen production, combining over 10 Gigawatts of hydropower from Eletrobras with GEP's cutting-edge electrolyzer technologies and cryogenic gas handling expertise. The initiative includes the construction of specialized production infrastructures and export terminal facilities, focusing on decarbonization of critical industrial and transport sectors.
