Greenlane Holdings Expands Validator Infrastructure Deployment
Greenlane Holdings, Inc. is set to deploy up to 30 million units of BERA into Berachain's validator infrastructure. This initiative aims to tap into protocol-level staking incentives and network yield dynamics. The company's collaboration with Infrared Finance will operate in accordance with Berachain's decentralization standards.
This deployment includes the redistribution of Greenlane's existing BERA holdings to support its digital asset treasury strategy. The allocation does not entail acquiring additional BERA, but leverages existing assets to maximize exposure to Berachain's Proof-of-Liquidity consensus mechanism. This mechanism aligns network security with liquidity and economic activity.
Berachain limits BERA delegation per validator to maintain decentralization. Through Infrared, Greenlane strategically distributes holdings across multiple validators to adhere to these constraints. This move fortifies Greenlane's long-term digital asset strategy amidst variable market conditions.
