GrowthZone Releases 2024 Association Survey with Insightful Industry Findings
GrowthZone, a prominent association management software provider, announced the publication of its 2024 Association Survey Results Report. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the survey collated responses from 332 association professionals in the U.S. and Canada, offering a comprehensive view into the industry's present situation and its future directions.
The survey highlighted two main areas of focus: membership dynamics and engagement, and identified industrywide challenges. A striking result from the survey showed more than half of the associations experienced stagnation or decline in their membership retention rates and overall member counts for the year-end 2023. This finding points to significant challenges and opportunities for associations aiming to maintain and increase their membership base.
On a positive note, the report revealed enhanced member engagement in nearly 60% of associations for year-end 2023 compared to the previous year. However, the survey also unearthed key challenges faced by associations, including member engagement and retention, membership growth, and the constant battle with time constraints.
John Cook, Senior Vice President of Marketing at GrowthZone, expressed enthusiasm about the report's potential impact. He emphasized the survey’s role in equipping association professionals with vital data to navigate membership challenges and leverage opportunities effectively.
The 2024 Association Survey Results Report is now accessible for download on the GrowthZone website, providing invaluable insights for professionals within the association industry and those interested in association management.
