Gryphon Digital Mining Secures Low-Cost Power with Natural Gas Acquisition

Gryphon Digital Mining has signed a definitive agreement to acquire natural gas assets in Northeast British Columbia, Canada. This acquisition with Erikson National Energy Inc. ensures a power generation capacity of 100 MW, expandable up to 1 GW. The deal focuses on securing low-cost power for Gryphon's bitcoin mining and AI operations, with projected energy costs of less than $0.03 per KWH.

The acquisition includes over 5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas resources, providing Gryphon with a significant power-generating asset. CEO Steve Gutterman highlighted the advantages of natural gas in scalability and sustainability. While this acquisition promises opportunities, regulatory approvals and community engagement remain key steps before finalization.

Gryphon aims to integrate these assets, promoting green initiatives, including greenhouse development for emissions reduction. Despite uncertainties, this move marks Gryphon's intent to lead in low-cost, differentiated power solutions.
