BRIEF

on Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. (NASDAQ:GSVRF)

Guanajuato Silver Reports Record Quarterly Production

Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. has announced its highest-ever quarterly production for the first quarter of 2024, with a notable 16.1% increase over the previous quarter. The production, coming from its operations across Mexico, totaled 987,312 silver-equivalent ounces. This growth is attributed to substantial rises in the output of silver, gold, lead, and zinc across its mines. Notably, the improvement in milled tonnes, which saw a 20.1% increase, and enhanced recovery rates for both silver and gold, played a significant role in this achievement.

The company's Chairman and CEO, James Anderson, highlighted the quarter as a period of best production performance, underscoring the consistent growth in precious metals production quarter-over-quarter. He attributed this growth to significant capital expenditure investments made in 2023 aimed at enhancing efficiencies across all production assets. These investments are now yielding visible improvements, signaling a strong start to the year for Guanajuato Silver.

Special mention was made of the contribution of third-party mineralized material and stockpiled material from the El Horcon mine, which together added significantly to the quarter's silver-equivalent output. The Topia mine remains a notable part of the production, being the only polymetallic site in the company's portfolio, contributing 29.2% of the total production for the quarter.
