Gulf Keystone Petroleum Announces 2024 AGM Results
On June 21, 2024, Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd. (LSE: GKP) announced the successful passage of all resolutions at its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM), conducted via webcast. The resolutions received strong support from shareholders.
The appointment of BDO LLP as auditors and the re-appointment of several directors were among the key resolutions approved. Notably, Gabriel Papineau-Legris was appointed as the new executive director and CFO, replacing Ian Weatherdon. Additionally, Martin Angle was named interim Chair of the Remuneration Committee, and David Thomas was appointed Deputy Chair and interim Senior Independent Director.
Resolution 9’s approval allows the continuation of the Company's share buyback program, with a maximum consideration of $10 million, until the 2025 AGM.
The recruitment process for additional independent non-executive directors is ongoing, with updates to be provided accordingly.
