Habitat for Humanity Initiates Global Housing Awareness Campaign

On March 23, 2026, Habitat for Humanity launched the "Let's Open the Door" campaign to highlight the global housing crisis. With the collaboration of partners like State Farm and Wells Fargo, the initiative aims to address housing needs in over 60 countries through pop-up installations and digital storytelling.

The organization is celebrating its 50th anniversary by sparking dialogue and participation. In April, a major U.S. activation, "Home is the Key", will kick off supported by Lowe's and Colgate-Palmolive. Several local affiliates will host panels and events to promote homeownership and community resilience.

Additionally, Habitat will conduct a tour across 10 global cities to emphasize the importance of housing and its transformative power. Cities like New York and London will participate in these symbolic events to inspire action and awareness.
