Half-year results 2024/2025 of Malteries Franco-Belges

Malteries Franco-Belges has released its results for the first half of the 2024/2025 financial year, ending December 31, 2024. The company held up well against a backdrop of a declining beer market. Sales reached €64.7 million, down 7% year-on-year, reflecting the drop in barley prices. Despite this, sales volumes increased 9% to 129 kt. Operating profit was positive at €3.7 million.
The International Malteries Company, 47.7% owned by Malteries Franco-Belges, maintained its performance with a contribution of €14.4 million. The group's net profit amounted to €18.2 million. Net financial cash flow stood at €77.9 million, up from the previous year.
