Half-yearly results 2024 for Electricity and Water of Madagascar
The Board of Directors of Electricité et Eaux de Madagascar (EEM) has validated the consolidated half-yearly accounts as of June 30, 2024. However, the limited examination of the accounts by the auditors is in progress.
Revenue for the first half of 2024 amounts to €126k compared to €343k for H1 2023. Net income, group share, is down, from €6,386k to -€1,245k.
Equity increased from €17,315k to €17,480k. The net asset ratio per share was stable at €3.05.
Among the highlights, the management of various disputes continues. The sale of a building in Lima is slowed by a reopening of a money laundering complaint. In addition, the hotel in Cambodia remains closed under minimal maintenance.
The funds needed for the group's activities come from the sale of a Parisian building and Gascogne shares in 2023.
