HEIDELBERG's Amperfied Secures Siemens Energy Contract for Charging Infrastructure
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, through its subsidiary Amperfied GmbH, has signed a significant agreement with Siemens Energy AG to oversee the operational management of its charging infrastructure in Germany. The contract involves the migration of approximately 200 AC charge points across 12 locations to Amperfied's cloud backend. This collaboration marks a long-term partnership aimed at expanding Siemens Energy's charge points.
This project presents a technical challenge, as it encompasses hardware from various manufacturers. Amperfied successfully harmonized these components within four weeks, providing Siemens Energy with a cohesive, future-proof platform. The service includes management of the charge points, featuring monitoring, reporting, and technical support.
Amperfied continues to bolster its presence as a provider of scalable, hardware-independent charging solutions for major customers, following its takeover of 1,700 charge points from SAP SE earlier this year. The company's offerings now extend beyond hardware, integrating software and services to ensure reliable infrastructure function.
