Hep global Plans a New Solar Park with Battery Storage in Bavaria
Güglingen-based hep global GmbH announces the expansion of its solar park in Schongau, Bavaria. This project marks its first attempt in Germany to integrate a battery storage system fully. The collaboration with Volllast GmbH aims to enhance energy stability and supply.
The park will boast an installed capacity of around 8 MWp. Its battery storage system will have a capacity of 6.1 MWh, with a 3 MW output. Construction is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026, intending to power approximately 2,744 households annually with over 9.3 million kilowatt-hours of electricity.
All necessary permits are secured, and the project enters its final technical planning phase. Numerous investors finance the initiative, underscoring its role in the energy transition. Additional ventures with Volllast are anticipated in 2026.
