Hep solar Partners with Stadtwerke Stuttgart for Solar Expansion
The German solar company hep solar has announced a new partnership with Stadtwerke Stuttgart. Together, they aim to develop solar projects with a capacity of up to 200 MWp in Germany over the coming years. Hep solar will primarily focus on project development, while Stadtwerke Stuttgart will handle financing and operation.
This collaboration supports Stuttgart's goal to become climate-neutral by 2035. The planned solar parks could save up to 88,000 tons of CO₂ emissions. The energy generated is expected to power around 65,000 average households, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
Martin Vogt of hep solar expressed satisfaction with the partnership, emphasizing the focus on Baden-Württemberg. Peter Drausnigg of Stadtwerke Stuttgart highlighted the collaboration as crucial for advancing the energy transition in the region.
