Hermès International: Strong Financial Performance in 2024

In 2024, Hermès International reported a significant financial performance with revenue climbing to €15.2 billion, marking a 15% increase at constant exchange rates compared to 2023. The group's recurring operating income reached €6.2 billion, accounting for 40.5% of sales, despite a challenging economic environment. Net profit amounted to €4.6 billion, representing 30.3% of sales.
Geographically, Hermès saw robust growth across all regions. Japan led with a 23% increase, followed by Europe excluding France at 19%, and the Americas at 15%. In Asia, excluding Japan, the growth was moderate at 7% due to economic headwinds in Greater China.
Sector-wise, the Leather Goods and Saddlery division excelled with an 18% rise, while Ready-to-wear and Accessories grew by 15%. In contrast, the Watches segment experienced a 4% decline. The company maintained its commitment to sustainable business practices, reducing emissions and promoting diversity.
