Highlander Silver Acquires San Luis Gold-Silver Project in Peru
Vancouver, BC - Highlander Silver Corp. (CSE:HSLV) has announced the acquisition of the San Luis gold-silver project from SSR Mining Inc. Located in the Ancash Department of central Peru, the project boasts historical measured and indicated resources of 348,000 ounces of gold grading 22.4 g/t, and 9,003,300 ounces of silver grading 578.1 g/t.
The acquisition is seen as transformational for Highlander Silver. The extensive property spans 23,098 hectares and offers significant exploration potential. The company plans a comprehensive geological mapping and sampling program to identify priority targets for further exploration.

The company acquired the project through a $5 million cash payment, with potential additional payments totaling up to $37.5 million contingent upon achieving certain milestones. A 4% net smelter returns royalty has been granted to SSR Mining, with an option to buy back half for $15 million before construction.
