HKSTP Announces Top Global Startups for EPiC 2024 Grand Finale

Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has unveiled the top 74 startups for the anticipated Elevator Pitch Competition 2024 (EPiC) Grand Finale, set to take place on April 26, 2024. Selected from over 600 competitors after a rigorous four-city series of semi-finals, these startups represent the forefront of innovation from 16 international markets. The event underscores Hong Kong’s position as a leading innovation and technology hub.

With 80% of its semi-finalists hailing from overseas, EPiC 2024 marks the most international edition of the event ever. It features competition tracks in FinTech, PropTech, and MobilityTech, promising a diverse showcase of pioneering ideas. Participants will vie for a share of US$45 million in arranged investments, up to US$5 million in venture funding from HKSTP, and US$240,000 in cash prizes, alongside invaluable partnership opportunities.

This year’s Grand Finale, hosted atop Hong Kong's tallest skyscraper at the sky100 venue, promises startups a unique platform to present their disruptive innovations. All competitors will benefit from exposure to Hong Kong’s expansive innovation ecosystem, offering a springboard to vast market opportunities in Mainland China and beyond. The highly anticipated event will bring together leading investors and innovation champions, reinforcing EPiC’s status as a milestone for the global I&T community.
