NEU Battery Materials Triumphs at EPIC 2025 in Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) successfully wrapped up its EPIC 2025 event, showcasing a diverse range of global innovations. NEU Battery Materials from Singapore emerged as the Overall Champion, highlighting its pioneering electrochemical recycling of lithium batteries. The flagship event, held at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, drew a significant international audience, with over 1,200 applications from more than 70 economies, reflecting its global appeal.
This year, investment funding doubled, reaching a total of US $105 million with US $240,000 allocated in cash prizes. Paul Chan, Hong Kong SAR's Financial Secretary, emphasized EPIC's role as a premier global innovation platform for emerging technologies and ideas.
NEU Battery Materials also won the Green Tech track. Additionally, KA Imaging Inc from Canada clinched the Digital Health Tech award, while Belli from Singapore was recognized in the FinTech category. EPIC Week facilitated over 200 business and investment matching sessions, enhancing engagement between startups and investors.
