Holcim Shareholders Approve Proposals at 2024 AGM

The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Holcim, held at the Bossard Arena in Zug, saw shareholders approving all proposed actions by the Board of Directors, including a 12% dividend increase to CHF 2.80 per share. This dividend will be paid from capital contribution reserves, exempt from Swiss withholding tax.

All existing board members were re-elected, and Catrin Hinkel along with Michael H. McGarry were newly elected. The board now comprises Jan Jenisch as Chairman and Hanne Sørensen as Vice Chairwoman and Lead Independent Director, along with other notable members.

Additionally, shareholder approvals included the annual and financial reports, a compensation report, a climate report, and an advisory on non-financial matters. Specific votes confirmed the compensation amounts for the board and executive committee members for upcoming terms.

Ernst & Young Ltd has been ratified as Holcim’s auditors for the 2024 fiscal year. Further details from this AGM, including executive speeches, are disclosed publicly by the company.
