Holcim's North American Business Rebrands as Amrize

Holcim has announced the renaming of its North American operations to Amrize, coinciding with a planned spin-off. Set to become an independent public company, Amrize will focus on delivering leading building solutions in North America, addressing needs from the foundation to the rooftop.

The name "Amrize" stems from the words "ambition" and "rising." "Am" signifies the company's dedication to innovation and high performance, while "Rize" reflects its goal to lead advancements in construction across North America.

Jan Jenisch, chairman of Holcim, highlighted the significance of this rebranding as a pivotal step in the spin-off process. Amrize is expected to debut on the New York Stock Exchange under "AMRZ", with approval anticipated by mid-2025.
