HKSTP and HKTDC Propel 22 Hong Kong Innovators to Middle East
In a strategic move, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), led 22 Hong Kong tech companies to innovation events in Dubai. These events included GITEX Global and Expand North Star, taking place from October 12 to 17, 2025. Over 200 business matchings connected these companies with international resources, underscoring Hong Kong's global innovation prominence.
Highlighting the venture, HKSTP CEO Terry Wong stated the importance of connecting Eastern and Western innovation ecosystems. The delegation covered fields such as AI, healthtech, and green technology, featuring companies like Robocore and i2Cool.
This initiative strengthens Hong Kong's position as an innovation and technology hub, offering seamless access via the Belt & Road Initiative to 2.3 billion consumers.
