Horizon Aircraft Appoints Jameel Janjua to Board of Directors

Horizon Aircraft, listed on NASDAQ as HOVR, has announced the appointment of Jameel Janjua to its Board of Directors. Janjua, a seasoned test pilot and astronaut, brings significant expertise in experimental test flights, military operations, and aerospace engineering. His addition is expected to aid the company's growth and enhance its strategic direction.

Janjua's distinguished career includes roles as a fighter pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force and as a test pilot for Virgin Galactic. With over 5,500 flight hours in more than 65 aircraft, his experience will support the development and certification of Horizon Aircraft's Cavorite X7 eVTOL. This hybrid electric aircraft aims to revolutionize regional air mobility with its innovative design.

Horizon Aircraft's CEO, Brandon Robinson, noted that Janjua's insights would help position the Cavorite X7 as a leader in safety and operational readiness.
