HÖRMANN Industries Releases Interim Report for H1 2024
HÖRMANN Industries GmbH published its interim report for the first half of 2024, revealing a challenging economic landscape impacting its Automotive and Intralogistics divisions. Despite this, the Communication and Engineering divisions showed positive development.
Sales decreased to €327.6 million from €372.5 million in the previous year. EBITDA fell to €8.8 million from €15.1 million, and EBIT dropped to €2.4 million from €9.2 million. However, the company retains a positive earnings outlook for the full year 2024.
The Automotive division faced a significant sales drop due to reduced demand, while the Communication division saw improved sales from the railway industry. Intralogistics continued to struggle with investment reluctance, and Engineering maintained stable sales but saw reduced EBIT.
HÖRMANN confirmed its forecast, expecting total sales between €680 million and €700 million for 2024, with EBIT projected between €16 million and €20 million.
