Hotelbird Introduces Digital Guest Journey in Record Time for Motel One

Berlin, 7th June 2024. 029 Group SE, a global hospitality and lifestyle platform, announces that its portfolio company Hotelbird has successfully integrated its digital system into over 90 Motel One hotels in just three months. This integration allows guests to check in and pay via the Motel One website and app.

Hotelbird's swift implementation, in collaboration with partners like Adyen and SIHOT, underscores its capability in large-scale projects. This seamless integration into Motel One's environment enhances the guest experience and boosts efficiency for hotel staff.

Daniel Müller, Co-CEO of Motel One, praised the collaboration with Hotelbird for simplifying and speeding up the check-in process. Juan Sanmiguel, CEO of Hotelbird, emphasized the project's success due to a strong mindset and readiness for change.

The Motel One app now offers online check-in and mobile key access for rooms. Hotelbird’s integration also enables personalized guest communication through emails and push notifications, setting a new standard in the digital guest journey.
