HR Leaders Embrace Agility: New Insights From Rival and Lighthouse Research

Human Resources is rapidly evolving and CHROs are navigating complex business challenges. Rival, in partnership with Lighthouse Research, surveyed over 2,400 organizations to understand HR's evolving role and their position within the C-suite.

The study underscores the importance of agility in HR practices. It reveals challenges and opportunities impacting organizational competitiveness. "CHROs are increasingly prioritizing agility within talent strategies," said Greg DiTullio, CEO at Rival. The report offers practical advice on where to get started.

A key finding is the proactive posture on HR agility. One out of three companies needed unexpected hires, yet over half took more than three months to align with new business objectives. Employee onboarding is the top strategic priority, influenced by increased hiring and turnover.

Despite technical advancements, simplifying HR data remains challenging. Over half of employers face trouble maintaining accurate hiring data. Furthermore, 67% of organizations reported improving efficiency through AI in recruiting tasks.

Ben Eubanks, Chief Research Officer at Lighthouse Research, emphasized the impact of agile HR practices: "By adopting an agile approach, organizations can meet challenges and turn them into opportunities."
