HUBER+SUHNER Reports Increased Order Intake and Stable Sales
HUBER+SUHNER AG announced a significant rise in order intake for the first nine months of 2024, totaling CHF 712.8 million, an 11.5% increase compared to the previous year. Despite this, overall net sales remained stable at CHF 665.2 million, nearly matching the 2023 figure.
The Industry segment experienced a 13.1% growth in order intake, although sales declined by 7.8%. The Communication segment saw robust growth, with order intake increasing by 35.9% due to major mobile infrastructure projects in Asia and AI data center investments, leading to a 14.1% rise in sales.
Meanwhile, the Transportation segment faced declines in both order intake and sales, down 12.0% and 7.0% respectively, mainly due to reduced demand in the automotive subsegment. Looking ahead, HUBER+SUHNER expects order intake to support sales growth, maintaining an operating profit margin guidance of 9.0–10.5% for the year.
